Marketing Research Executive

Full Time

Salary Range: £ 42000 - 45000

The Marketing Research Executive will undertake business and market research and provide analysis to support the company's commercial, marketing and business-development activities.

The principal duties will include:

• Conducting research into existing and potential markets relevant to the company's logistics and freight-forwarding activities.
• Collecting, analysing and evaluating business, customer and market information.
• Researching market trends, customer requirements and developments within the logistics and freight-forwarding sector.
• Identifying potential markets, customers, commercial opportunities and areas for business expansion.
• Analysing competitor activity and relevant market developments.
• Preparing research findings, reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Evaluating customer and sales information to identify trends and potential business opportunities.
• Maintaining and developing business and prospective-client databases.
• Supporting the development of marketing and business-development strategies based on research findings.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of marketing and business-development activities and recommending improvements.
• Providing management with research-based information to assist commercial planning and decision-making.
